Alumina Al2O3 is the most important oxide-ceramic material and a significant module in our production programme.

      - high to very high thermal conductivity

      - very good insulating properties

      - very resistant to wear

      - very high chemical resistance

      - high to max. refractoriness

Mechanically, chemically, thermally, electrically. you look at it. Alumina is simply the tops however.

These strengths pre-determine its use, for instance, in trigger insulators, pressure-resistant regulator parts, sliding and seal rings, axles, shafts, bearing shells and aerial shafts.
